Anyone actually know how the twin diff axle actually worked? Was there two diffs or was it just a gimmick and both the casings were open inside? From an earlier thread (vaguely remember seeing this once before): Sonic had one welded and one limited slip diff, had to really or it would have had no dive, both motors would have spun the centre shaft. Oh I see, so effectively the welded diff is acting as part of the halfshaft. Clever. There are a lot of 13 pin relays or modules missing in the last photo. Hopefully it comes with a before picture too.

Wow I remember this back in the day. It was made to promote the new Wolfrace Sonic wheels, it was actually called the Sonic if I remember correctly. And yes, two computer controlled V8`s.

So at £18,100.00 with 50 bids i was just wondering who the lucky new owner is, anyone on here? That would be a brilliant built thread! Imagine telling your broad when you got that thing home... Mine's pretty tolerant, but I reckon even as cool as it is, this would push her over the edge. Still, it would be epic on the school run in the morning and parking it in the parent and child spaces in Tesco!!
