fed up of this now, so sticking it up for sale. its an unfinished, undriving project, so any messages of 'whats it need to b finished m8' will be met with derision. not really looking for a trade, ive already bought something else.
firstly GO READ THE BUILD THREAD.
it is here- retrorides.proboards.com/thread/113992/1996-lada-pedal-hydro-handbrake
the answer to pretty much any question you will ask is in there, plus over 300 pics of every orifice of the car.
work wise to finish it needs-
prop making(all parts included)
exhaust making (about half the bits included)
half the brake lines doing(rear axle and front inner wings, rest are already done)
tunnel extending/finishing off.
fuel pump buying and fitting (lines are done)
engine coolant plumbing doing (all bits included, all brand new silicone stuff)
maybe some wiring
oil
clutch hardline doing (box has been converted to hydro)
various bits cleaning up/painting- rear axle, brake components, etc.
SPEC-
pretty much everything on it is new as youll have seen in the thread- cambelt+ tensioners, waterpump, all the engine stuff. had a rebuild shortly before i got it, but i cant prove this, other than its clean as hell everywhere. all brake bits gone through, the steering rack conversion all done with polybushes, etc, etc.
engine is a 2L fiat twincam from a late 70s 132 sport. 5 speed fiat box. lancia rocker cover, twin weber 34/36 carb with K&N and manual choke conversion. rarer/more reliable bosch ignition. custom engine and gearbox mounts to raise it up. bmw e30 rad.
rear axle is mk2 escort, turreted on golf coilovers with welded diff. they are 5 linked as standard, it has an adjustable panhard.
sierra/fiesta rear disc conversion. then escort hubs on the front to match on bearing adapters.
hydro handbrake.
bugpack front shocks, cut springs.
mk1 golf steering rack conversion
huge 1/4" plate sump guard.
compbrake bias pedal box with girling cylinders.
wheels are international/100+ spit rims, 13x7 and 13x8.25. they use compomotive rim sections. so you can easily change widths if you desire.
interior has mx5 seats with stock rear, 2x black carpet sets. 70s aftermarket tacho, cueball shifter knob on fabbed gearstick.
plus theres a full brown vinyl interior too
more or less a full cars worth of spares- all stuff a banger racer stripped off before racing one- lights, interior, electricsl, switchgear, a bumper, glass, seals, etc.
theres a new front wing with it too, but its already had a pair when alan had it.
battery is in an fia approved box in the boot run in with mx-5 cable, thats all done
the only bit not included that is there in the pics is the nardi steering wheel, absolutely everything else is there, the split rim wheels, everything
rust wise , it does have a hole below the fuel tank in the boot pocket, but it was MOT passable, other side is ok. its been patched around front outriggers, plus theyve been squashed a bit by bad jacking. drivers side needs patching again forward of outrigger where footwell panel meets floor. otherwise, i think its pretty good. it has peeling underseal and surface rust like they all seem to, and mark nightmares did a section of the rear of the sill on drivers side when alan had it, oh and he replaced the front wings and front valance for alan as well, and sprayed em all. ive even got half a tin of paint left that would do the bootlid. as that was swapped with the aforementioned banger racer as the one on the car was rusty cos of a spoiler, but his was mint.
basically, bring a trailer and a van and take everything lada related i have, i want the lot gone so i can move on to something else.
