Hi guys... Really want to fit a tarp cover over the pickup bed. The gutter rail at the tailend is fine (see pic) but the cab end is a problem. The gutter runs up and over the window, I cetainly don't want it anchored up there !? Any Ideas - My only thought it to cut a notch and run it along the ledge under the cab window.

You need to fit some of those press fit button things, can't remember what they're called you put a bit with a little peg onto the bodywork then sew a circle with a hole in the middle into the tarp. The bits then push together.

Doesn't solve his gutter issue though, does it as wetness will still get around the area by the bulk head. I think you need to either cut a notch or weld a flange onto that ledge. If you cut a bit out of the existing gutter it's feasable to have a good fit I think.
Personally, I'd go for a full-height canvas tilt, a-la land rovers. Makes the space useful, plus you would literally have a 'blank canvas' for arty whizz on it.

here how my tonneu cover works. it has 1" ally angle screwed on all the way round the edge of the bed. this is better than lift the dot fasteners, as you can still slide things on the side of the bed whilst getting them out, plus it stops you taking the paint off the edge of when doing so- especially useful on yours as satin marks easily. it also still looks good when running without the cover. my cover is permanenty fixed at the cab end, then has the ally down each side and across the tailgate. my tonneu cover is grey canvas re-enforced vynil, quite thick and tough. it has a 1" strip of thick, stiff, black delrin type plastic stitched into the edge. its sewn along the outer edge not the inner. to put the cover on, you hook the plastic down and drop it under the ally like so, then run your finger along it and it slides in all the way along- then push it down and in, and it pulls the cover really taught- to remove, you just tilt the outer edge unwards and it unsnaps. I like this setup cos its clean, easy to use, and theres no fasteners as such.

That's an interesting way of doing it dez... I'll save that
As Nick said i think there may be some notchage action on the top end - probably notch the vinyl rather than the gutter. May leak into the bed a little but it's better than the gutter leaking - which I think is a panel join ?
