That Burner could pay for itself nicely...the spare wheel looks like an Araya rim/Suntour hub combo, as per Ultra Burner. The crank looks like an Ultra Burner (Suntour? Sugino?) item too, there's a pair of DX pedals, CW-style handlebars, Dia-Compe 890 brakes (are they real?) and of course, a pair of black Tuffs! Gotta be worth at least £2.74! ;D

youre not far off the spare wheel is as you say, i used to have a 'burner with these on, it was gloss black with the bars coated with the gold placcy stuff that always peeled off. the frame on this one is the same stuff, any idea what model it would have been, asi don't think it was an ultra burner. the spider is suguno and the chainwheel suntour., DX style pedals are victor. i used to have some genuine shimano DX in gold, wish id never got rid of them brakes are weinmann rear and no name front, but i think i might have some dia compes and maybe even the 2-finger levers back at home and yes, i have been buying a few pink things recently, mostly cos they're cheap, and no, youre not the first to take the curse word I'm gunna have to repaint the truck though as salmon pink does nothing for my compexion, but i was thinking a nice bright/neon pink would wind up everyone who says 'you cant have a pink truck, its gay' etc.

I'm doing this from memory, so it might be wrong...
The gusseted models (Mk1?) Burners were.
Burner: Red or Blue frame - yellow components (tyres/seats/grips) Super Burner: Chrome frame with gold plastic film/coating - chrome steel rims. Tuff Burner: Blue frame - yellow Skyway wheels. Ultra Burner: Black frame, gold components (Araya rims, two piece chainring) or Silver frame with blue components.
Pro Burner: Decent chrome frame that didn't crack under the bottom bracket (unlike the squish'n'weld lesser Burners - and no snap-easy V-bars either!), blue high(ish) end components.

in that case, back in the day ive had (and broken)- about half a dozen normal burners. a super burner (which is what this appears to be) a tuff burner, blue with yellow wheels a black ultra burner and a chrome pro burner, I also had one in the blue/while/yellow team colours. they had little 'R's cut out of the dropouts, and were made with aero/oval tubing. they also did another one which was white with white skyways that I had, called an aero 21 or something. in might have had oval tubing or round tubing, I cant remember, but it was more like a pro burner in design than a normal burner, it didnt have one peice loopround chainstays/seatstays. the one I wish id never sold though was a kuwahara lazerlite totally loaded with trick bits, every single bit on it was a branded part, yellw skyways, gold diacompes, yellow ski-grips, gold suntour/suguno chainring setup, gold DXs, yellow 'aero' seat, those handlebars with the split top tube to stand on, the lot. sold it for about £30 to get my first mountain bike

I also had one in the blue/while/yellow team colours. they had little 'R's cut out of the dropouts, and were made with aero/oval tubing. Sounds like a Team Burner
