MK2 Golf 8v GTI Small bumper 3 dr.
For sale is my golf which I purchased last year. I never had the time to spend on it in the first place but you know how its goes once you've bought it in your head!
Its a small bumper that has be de-trimed and the arches slightly rolled. Its also low, very low. On around 159,000 miles. Turns heads and camera phones on.
Good bits -
-Full MOT until October (i'll check later today) with ONE advisory - That the alloy is protruding from wheel arch
-Full Respray last year in Audi scuba blue
-New Windscreen
-New alternator
-New battery
-New Front Brake Flexi Hoses
-Fully Working MFA - new batt reset the clock
-Interior is fresh (drivers seat worn though)
-Porsche 928 black leather steering wheel
-New Horn ^^ to work with that
-New full Jextex exhaust system from manifold (£300 Worth) done less that 300 miles.
-Lowered 70mm all round on adjustables
-Sits on dished 15" Melber alloys (Never seen another pair) With custom VW centrer caps.
-Arches have been undersealed by previous owner
-3/4 Stamped original HISTORY book up to 146,091 miles
-Most of the old MOT's
-Comes with Original vag bits (service book/instruction manual/grey holder) - just a nice touch
-MK3 weighted shift rod - Makes the gear change so much better and less sloppy
Not so good bits -
dash clocks changed over at some point. It displays 53,000
The rear valance needs replacing ideally - pics and explanation to follow. (rear valance repair panel included in sale)
Repray is pretty good, there are a few spots of paint reaction
Filler cap is a bit rusty (common unfortunately)
Sills are slightly rusting
few small dents here and there
signs of mould on passenger door card
only tweaters installed
no door pins
Well I feel I've been pretty honest about the car and I welcome viewings and offers.
I'll have pics up in a few hours after its been washed!

thanks for looking.
James.
^^ The exhaust hangs lower than the valance - I replaced a single straight through pipe with a twin jetex. Previous owner had smoothed the valance and cut out a custom single hole for the exhaust to sit.
^ When waxed
