You gotta love the bay. There are still bargains to be had, just not very often. Today me an Russell went for a poot up the A1 to collect this big old beast!!! QUALITY! 2.4 litres of non-turbo'd diseasel powaaar. Now the hard bit, kitting it out as a decently-spec'd home-from-home. I reckon these LT's are quite 'the win', reasonably priced compared with smaller VW's like a T3, yet much more spacious and quicker too. This one was listed in the wrong category, and we got it DEAD CHEAP... I expected the chap to tell us to curse word off at that closing bid, but the chap was a decent sort and the deal was done. PS - in a bizarre twist, this is actually registered to russell, and I think I now own an Alfa.... anyone want to buy a 155 TS with 10 months ticket? let me know!!

PPS.... The van is actually a "96N" reg... too new for retro? I don't think so... nothing has changed on them since 197* apart from the front grille!

Providing Russ gets some rent in the window, I don't see any reason why not. Oh and he doesn't leave the handbrake on again. HAR HAR!
I would advise turning up early to watch the comedy spectacle as he tries to park the thing. LOLLINGTON-ON-SEA!!! ;D ;D ;D

Now here again is serious ENVY street for me.
Not sure which perverse string in my bow they pluck, but these LT's pluck my strings big time. If I had decent off street parking and access to it, Iwould have had one a long time ago.
You go Russell.. !! (said with fingers crossed)

I looked at a '77 LT28 the other day, it was HUGE! Rotten too. It was cheap, but it was too big for my driveway and had way too many rust holes in it! I think it was a proper conversion though, as it had everything on board! I think it may have been weighed in by now...
