Here was my initial question:
So, after some research, it seems there are a number of products on the market that will suit my need. It turns out I'm looking for a market standard of;
AMS-DTL-23053/16.
This gives me:
Raychem DR-25
Raychem FRAG
Deray V25
Hellermann PST-H
FiniSHRINK SHDR
Plastronic PLDR100
Now, there are a number of online suppliers that I have found. Unfortunately, many want to sell me enough to wire up a full plane.
It would be greatly appreciated if anyone within the aviation, motorsport or engineering industry could point me in the direction of a supplier willing to sell by the meter. I don't mind buying up to 10 meters at once, as I will have the intention of selling the surplus on, but anything more is overkill.
Hello all.
I'm on the lookout for an Elastomer Heat Shrink equivelant to Raychem DR-25 but without the price tag.
Does such a product exist?
Can anyone who's work within the aviation or engineering industry recommend a very flexible heat shrink?
I don't require the SAE or VG rating of DR-25, it's just for an engine loom I'm working on.
