fuggin ace! run little children, run! Did anyone notice the '65 Oldsmobile like mine in the traffic?  Now that Ventura II is interesting, notice how it lays two black stripes at the begining of the sequence, and how flat it corners... For a plain-wrapper car with hub caps and grandma paint theres some sweet mechanical mods done to that, or the right options from the factory.... Now I really like that. Although the Catalina is a beasty too. Look at the float on that. |

This one has all the elements:
San Fransisco, stairs, jumps, slides, skids, hiding amongst the same type of car (Italian job stylie!)...classic chase 'standards'. Split Screen VW fans may enjoy it less than most though!

try downloading the original gone in 60 seconds, not the recent crappy remake, the entire second half is car chase, you can tell it was a film made by stuntmen. The Boss mustang they used never got repaired, but was put in a museum stll beaten up, comes out for displays and gets thrashed still. www.gonein60seconds.com/ |

I bought the original Gone in 60 sec on DVD. Had to get it from the USA as it wasn't released on DVD over here, only the remake ANyway, get it and guess what, its got that stupid "Inteligent region protection" on it which means it won't play even in my multui-region DVD player. What cvnts. Won;t release it over here and make the DVD unplayable over here. I wouldn;t mind but its a legit copy and I would haev bought the UK one if they did one.

I bought the original Gone in 60 sec on DVD. Had to get it from the USA as it wasn't released on DVD over here, only the remake ANyway, get it and guess what, its got that stupid "Inteligent region protection" on it which means it won't play even in my multui-region DVD player. What cvnts. Won;t release it over here and make the DVD unplayable over here. I wouldn;t mind but its a legit copy and I would haev bought the UK one if they did one. I gave up trying to get a copy that would work and downloaded it with Bitorrent in the end, the acting is terrible but its worth putting up with. |
