You should be writing them as and when you see fit. If you're not enjoying writing them, or feeling like you are being forced to do it, then you are doing it wrong. It's not a source of employment, it's a hobby. I enjoy reading them because you obviously enjoy writing them. If you stopped enjoying it and started feeling like you were just doing your duty, chances are if probably stop enjoying it.

I feel bad for badgering you to start them now! As said, it's not your job, you don't owe us any deadlines, keep them coming but only as and when you can/want to...
I'd imagine it's similar to building a car, if there's no enjoyment, you'll find reason to put it off and it won't get done.
A poster above used the word "entitlement", it's just about my most hated word at the moment. People are absolutely blinkered about what goes on in other folk's lives providing they get what they want, when they want it.
While I don't think things were always better in the past (wars/disease/racism etc) I do think we've come a little too far the other way? Everyone seems to think they own the world!
Sorry for the early morning rant!

What an entitled, arrogant git! I actually I'm struggling to comprehend the behaviour. Actually, now I think about the majority of the people I deal wit at work I can expect it... Anyway, your posts are excellent as always chap, and frankly that we should get to read them at all is a credit to you and a bonus for us! keep up the good work mate!

My most hated word at the moment - ME ME ME (alright that's 3 words but I'm sure most of you come across it on a daily basis). Keep the posts coming PP at your own pace.

Loving the updates Pp. and as for that bloke I wouldn't waste your time, just block him and get on with it. I haven't been on here for a good while, so was fantastic too see what's happened and if i remember correctly, you've sold 2 cars and bought 1. Can say I've only ever seen one more of that Renault on our roads and even that was when I was a kid (32yrs old now).

Always a great read Mr Pp.
I've missed reading your updates. The coffee shop takes up so much of my time that I get to read less than you update, so all good here.
I have a major crush on the Avantime. Definately a bucket list car, so I'm reading your musings with interest.
Take care.

I get it. I don't want one, I don't particularly like (nor dislike) the Avantime, they just don't interest me. BUT I would still stop, and say, Ohhh, an Avantime! and maybe nobody else would notice, but car people do. And I would totally salute you for driving it. I saw someone driving the other way in a Rover 214 wedge shape 5-door a few days ago, and I thought, good on you!

I was at Caffeine and Machine a while back and there was an Aventine parked up. It was parked between two fast moderns (Maybe a 911 and a Bentley?) worth at least an order of magnitude more, but they didn't get a second glance from the group of people making a beeline for the Renault. Not a car that I want to own, but I definitely appreciate it for it's differentness. Although... with doors that long, can you get out of the car in normal parking spaces?! Great read as always

Yep, that hinge is definately wierd, but it does make getting into it, and out of it at the supermarket much easier! I've not got stuck yet, and I'm quite lardy, and have had people park far too close to me for my liking at the supermarket. So far it's been no more difficult than if I was driving a regular car.

You know, from the "other guy's" perspective, I don't see how it would hurt to say you want to keep the car until, say, March, and then he can buy it. Gives him time to save up and set aside the readies, and you time enough to enjoy it. Even from this side of the screen it doesn't seem like you've had it long, it's practically just arrived. I say this because I know from experience, I would be happy knowing that my next car that I was after was in the hands of someone that enjoyed it, and that I would get it eventually. Perhaps. Not everyone has patience to wait. Or even, for everybody's reassurance, get him to give you a small deposit, and then he's invested, and so are you, and he knows it will come to him. I'd be up for that if someone said they'd sell me their Camaro and it was a price I could afford in whatever time frame was agreed.
