Hello! A quick question to see if I have worked it our right (measurements are rough) I currently have the Capri JPS alloy 5.5J +19ET Looking for new wheels and looked at these pictured below which are 6J +10 ET Some hopefully with my understanding they will fit okay and fill the arch a tad more but won't cause any issues touching the suspension as its close on the 185/60... cars lowered 2-3inch

Hi, no I don't think that's right. The stated wheel width is the bead width, there is the rim and the tyre "bulge" to consider as well. Use this site to enter you tyre and wheel dimensions for your present and proposed ones, it will then tell you what you get and also to find what you need. - www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp Colin

yeah, what youve done isnt right. a 6" wheel is actually 7" wide overall. the rest looks right though, even if you have worked it out in a slightly odd way.
it helps if you know what ET means- its short for Einpresstiefe in german, which basically means 'insertion depth'. its how far past the hub centreline the wheel is 'inserted' into the car, or moved out if the number is a negative value. if the number is 0, the wheel is spaced evenly around the hub face- half behind it, half in front.
so each wheel will actually 'stick out' 12-13mm more than what you have calculated.

Cheers, back to work out what will fit, need to make sure it it clears my coilovers and wont catch on my arch lowered. Thanks for info

Thanks, done both to double check! Think ET 10 or ET 16 are the best solution for me, more poke towards arch and similar for suspension clearence on the HUB side. ET10 ET16
