Possibly Up for Sale as I'm after an MPi Classic Mini.
My 1983' Daily Driver Ford Capri 1600 PINTO. MoT Till July I think-will update.
Gearbox: 4-Speed Manual Low miles gearbox with Chrome shifter & New Clutch.
Engine: 1600 PINTO Engine with 108,000 Miles but recently rebuilt. Great oil pressure. Super runner. Serviced 1000 miles ago.
Body: 1983 Ford Capri LS German built, Wax injected from new. De-bumpered & De-Trimmed. Mk2 Front Bumper & Mk2 Front Grill. Pressed Aluminium Reg plates [Legal ones!]
Wheels & Tyres: RS 4 Spokes with Dunlop/D-Mack Rally Gravel tyres [Including Spare pair] & Componative 5 spoke Alloys with New Nexen Summer tyres.
Exhaust: Full Sportex Bannana-Branch Exhaust. [Not too loud but sporty]
Interior: Clean and tidy with CD/Radio [Dash cut] Hula-Girl, Decent Parcel shelf, Everything works fine, Heater works on both settings-Blows lovelyt and warm.
The Paintwork is Matte Black and has been done cheaply, It would look much better with a fresh blow-over but the tatty look adds to the cars appeal for me.
I Have been using the car daily since I got it, Insurance is cheap and it's a lovely drive. Never let me down though it has had the choke removed by the P/O [Don't know why] So takes a minute to warm up.
I've had the car serviced using quality oil-Morris Goldfilm oil 20w50. The old whining gearbox has been replaced with a low miles unit which is very nice, all with fresh oil and a new clutch.
Loads of paperwork to back up service history, old reciepts and MoT's etc... Haynes Manual, even the original bill of sale!
It's a decent Capri in need of some love, I've done it to look how I wanted it to and so it may not be to everyones taste. The sills are a little rusty from the salted roads so could do with a sand down and touch up. Comes with loads of spares including some alloy lowering blocks, Wiper stalk, rockers, Lamp units etc...
