So on the way home from work I called in at my brothers' mates new place - he's been a panel beater/paint sprayer for years and has now set up on his own. (he has worked on Minis lots and kind of specialises in them - if you're in the Widnes/Runcorn/Warrington/North West areas and want more info, get in touch) The guy that has the unit next door is building this: I don't know much about it but I think it's Toyota running gear ;D

Excellent There used to be a split screen Moggy, done in a similiar way, running on a land rover chassis etc down in mid-cornwall, olive drab paint. Loved it.

serious ground effects too.... bit Barry for me.... prefer the old lines, but I guess when all painted and ready I would be first to say : "Gizza ride then mister"
Great idea and execution though.

Hey Darren - presume this is Mark's place, could you PM me contact details and address please? Do you reckon he'd be able to take on some minor bodywork restoration on my swallowtail at some point?

Probably! Give him a bell: 0151 424 0002 is the company number! He's on Warrington Road, there's a small block of units set back off the road before the sharp bend (as you head down from "our" end)
