You wont catch me buying a VAG products or j-tin for very good reasons Reliabilty and parts availability a problem for you? I have no brand loyality what so ever,.. I have no particular type of car I like, saloon, coupe, 2dr, 4d, estate, whatever,.. no country, no RWD/FWD issues, no scene, or anti-scene, no nothing... I just love cars. I have no comfort zone. Luckily I also have no money and no space,.. so its one car at a time for me.....

I think i will always be messing about with Imps but that is down to a great club aswell as the car itself. Plus things would have to pretty desperate for me to part with the Nymph.
I like loads of other stuff and my wish list is endless. I have owned a MK2 Golf GTi with was great fun. I miss my Scirocco GT and i know have a Cinquecento Sporting which may not be quick but i love driving it.
Also like my Landys and have owned a Range Rover 3.9 and now have a Disco TDi.
I do like the idea of getting a Rover P6 or maybe a P5 and one day i will have a American Muscle car.

I've owned most makes of car at one time or another - Imps, Japs, Vauxhalls, BMWs but the ones I have enjoyed the most have always been Fords, which is why I always end up coming back to them. All the cars I wish I hadn't sold are Fords and all the cars I want the most are old school Fords. It's just a pity that they are so over priced now. The reason they were such value back in the day is that they represented cheap fun. I do like lots of other stuff, which is why I like RR so much - for its variety. I can admire non Ford vehicles all day long but for me personally I wouldn't consider owning anything that didn't have a blue oval on it.

Anything that moves me emotionally as well as physically has to be bought This is where I am at the moment and will stay. I tried to look towards a S12 Silvia, and even , had a high speed passenger blast in Wacomuk's fine example. but it just was not me, Whooosh Horizon zoom! 80's J sports looks. but did I really want one? No, sadly not. So another MR2 joined the stable instead ;D worrying (or not?) Also I can't seem to shake off Ford's I don't know why, I always like the popularity and modesty of humble Fords from the ages. I know they handle well, are not too heavy, and pretty do what they say on the tin, plus most of the time don't have loads to prove. however they can rot, doesnt seem to put me off. I search out old ones for projects, and somehow end up with new ones. readers ride coming up soon. Now I like loads of other stuff, I try to rule stuff out or i'd be buying far too much tat! Out of my comfort zone? something new and complicated to fix. something old and needing far too much TLC and resto (could be done like) trouble ? Beetles, Mini's, Citroens (getting comfortable here) BL? And finally any big investment in FWD that isn't metro sized. oh and in honesty, probs some massive yank.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
