Have for sale my 1997 Volvo V70 2.3 5 cylinder T5 estate (in multi shades of red)
129k miles, sadly no history with car, but I bought it off a mate who has owned it over 8 years.
Was bought before Christmas, between me and my brother, and was going to be this year's "track slag" to race around castle coombe.
It has New m.o.t (12/2015),passed with no advisories,and taxed,(but don't come with that), and i've currently been using it every day back and for work..40 miles a day.....without any issues at all!!
Typical Volvo build...like a tank.. and weighs as much...drives superb for an 18 year old car.
So the good points;
Superb 5 cylinder engine with no issues, apart from it like lots of petrol!! lol.
No mechanical issue's ,new discs on the rear, exhaust system is all good too.
Solid underneath, no rust anywhere. rear aches were done a few years ago.
Interior is clean and tidy (aside from the boot,where ive been working it).
All electrics work, inside and out!
Only 1 key and 2 fobs but only one of them working!!.
Now the bad points;
Mainly the outside ... both front and rear bumpers want painting.. previous owner had started to rub down front bumper, but got no further. No cracks though!
Both rear tyres are on there limit now.
Sunroof missing as it decided to part company with the car, one day , going down dual carriageway!!! happened on previous owner,who then decide to not replace it ,and tape over the roof!! has done a good job with matching red tape....can sometimes get a wet seat from heavy rain, but not often!!.
Abs and service light are on, but ive removed the bulbs as they were doing my head in!! lol.. does not affect braking or the car.. just being honest!
Probably could do with a service, I was told the cam belt was done 4 years ago...hasn't had the miles, but more the age now!!.
Glass tinted all round (may be illegal on front windows) but ive yet to be stop.!!
So to some up ,a fantastic car (ive also owned the 850 tdi ) fast car that wont pass a petrol garage.. mainly cos I'm a tight a**!! lol ...but you cant knock the old girl.. she does what she's says on the tin!!!
I would go anywhere in this car, as I do trust it !!
