It is with a heavy heart I am now selling my 1974 Skoda S100 tarmac or hillclimb car. Not really by choice, but buying a house, so everything must go. Car is located in Dundee.
There are a couple of things to be clear on beforehand.
1) The Technomagnesio wheels in the pictures are not included and are not for sale. The car is sold without wheels.
2) The car has no rear suspension or running gear. The wheels are sitting in the arches for illustrative purposes only.
So, my 1974 Skoda S100. Immaculate shell, shotblasted and primed ready for the colour of your choice.
Front end. Bespoke front axle with inboard Leda coil overs.All Rose jointed and adjustable. 900lbs springs fitted. Sierra uprights and flanges drilled to both 4x108 and 4x100. Accepts an 8” front wheel.
Rapid/Estelle steering column with additional joint for better steering wheel angle. The S100 originally had a one piece column which is a bit van-like. There is now an aluminium spacer where you see the bolts on this pic.
Rear arches modified to accept 10” wheels. Tubs raised for clearance. Spring cup narrowed for wheel clearance, so now only accept 2.25”springs or similar. External arches flared and stretched to allow the larger wheels without the need for arches.
Included in the sale are the following;
Excellent set of panels, currently fitted to the car and can be seen in the photos.
A poor set of panels, good for emergency spares perhaps, or for making moulds?
7 doors. All in reasonable condition but one has a large dent in it.
All glass and a spare rear screen.
The original dash in excellent condition and the wiring loom in poor condition.
Brand new dash clocks still in the box.
Brand new number plate light and some other smaller pieces.
Several boxes of Skoda spares. Nothing really fancy, but lots of useful standard stuff. Gearshifters, pedal boxes, loads!
Price for this is £1500
For additional cost, the following can be added;
Suzuki G13B motor. Currently stripped for inspection. Very nice engine, I drove the car it was in before it was removed. Comes with new water pump, gasket set and timing belt.
Skoda 4 & 5sp gearboxes. 5sp currently stripped, but is complete.
Adaptor plate and clutch assembly to mount Suzuki motor on the Skoda gearbox.
Also, I would recommend whoever buys the car to also take the Van Diemen front uprights I have for the car. They add extra length to thetop wishbones. The Sierra ones currently fitted to the axle are brand new, so you will get decent money back for them. I also have matching rear Van Diemen uprights.
Technomags are not for sale....really....right?
Any questions, just ask. Cheers!
