Up for sale is my Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon. It's an import - which means it has a few more ponies than the UK versions. I purchased it from this here parish not long ago and it has been nothing short of fantastic in that time, and has transformed my previous held beliefs of Subaru Impreza's
The sole reason I am getting rid is my commute will be increasing six-fold soon and I need a sensible/boring diesel - otherwise I would be keeping this cool old rocketship.
This is a true survivor - completely standard, has not been messed around with or modified. Nothing that you will find for £1500 will come close to having cross-country pace that this thing has (I mean around the bends as well all you Saab Aero/Volvo T5 fans)
Interior is completely standard, with the standard double-DIN Subaru headunit with a CD and Tape deck (luxury!) - the radio works fine, which is rare with JDM-spec cars.
The standard Impreza deep-pile mats are in place front and back as well as the standard Nardi steering wheel.
Everything works exactly as it should - analogue climate control, ice cold a/c all the electric windows. They all work.
Engine and gearbox all work exactly as they should. Holds boost perfect, sits where it should on the temp gauge all day long. Gearbox snicks into gears real nice and has a really short throw.
Clutch has excellent bite and there's no untowards bangs or knocks, feels really positive to drive, and the turn-in and steering feel through that thin three spoke Nardi is absolutely delicious. Only modified thing on the vehicle is a large ToyoSport alloy radiator and the newer shape 17" wheels with good premium brand tyres all round.
The only let down of this fantastic vehicle is the dent on the OSR quarter panel - I have put a picture up to illustrate this the best i can. There is also a small hole in the driver seat bolster - pictured, apart from this it's perfectly standard and in great condition.
The rear pads will need changing at some point - they are starting to squeal every now and then.
