That my boy is a Chevrolet Chevelle 300. Its th base model Chevelle for 1967 and it will probably have a 4.2 litre straight 6 with 2 speed automatic and all round non-power drum brakes. It will also probably have PAS. It may have a 283 small block and the two-speed. Some came with the three on the tree manual.
If thats the one I'm thinking of it has a 4.2 and 2 speed auto, it used to be white with blue "Viper" stripes and was a pretty solid car.
It has limited sale value due to the 6 cyl engine and the fact its a 4 door saloon with the posts - not a pilarless or 2 door.
IIRC this is the last outing of the early Chevelle frame. The '68 and up models have another.
They have a separate chassis, live axle rear and double wishbone front suspension.
Fitting a V8 **MAY** require use of a V8 front crossmember to clear the sump and steering gear, on some US models the 6 cyl is completely different. IN many cases you need the wiring loom from the V8 car as the starter, disty, etc are all in very different locations on the V8 to the i6.
Great cars, great tiuning potential, great styuleing potential.
Sadly that one looks like a retired taxi in those colours with those doors...
Make a good daily driver.
tremendous parts backup for resto or modding.
I trust you have the guys number?

F100 dates it. They became an F150 at some point. I'm not so up on pickups but with Fords the light pickup was the F1, then the F100 and then the F150 which is stiull what its called now.
I have to admit I'd like that Chevelle. Make a great daily.

I haven't got the VIN for either Vehicles I've mentioned. I'd love the Chevelle LONG time might ask the insurance company tonight, not holding out much hope though

I pay £212 to insure the Oldsmobile, Buick, Plymoputh and Chrysler (£53 per car). All are unrestricted miles, agreed value, Euro green card, and it includes free breakdown recovery. I am over 25 though, and from recollection qwerty is not.

They are odd, its more like a variomatic with a first gear.
Like they say "slip and slide its a Powerglide"
Mind you thats what Andy Frost uses in his Red Victor....

that is very, very rough, despite the good picture. and is also very, very rattley. i think its a 6, purely based around the fact it only has one tailpipe. AK, with your recent track record, id steer clear. tis smart as a carrot though.

I agree, it looks pretty damn smart but its rough as fcuk. Looks to have had a recent blowover in yellow and rust is coming through all over (sills, pillars etc.) , most of the door glass seals are missing as well. I think its dropped around £250 in price since the last show I saw it at a few weeks ago. I would still probably buy it though ;D
