Ive decided to sell my TVR, I bought this a year ago from a TVR specialist. The car was a CAT D and had suffered light fiberglass damage to the nose. The damage had been very well repaired by the seller and required paint to finish.
I got the car home, stripped it and painted it in Audi midnight blue. Its also had,
New calipers, discs and pads front and rear,
New wheels with new Federal 595rsr tyres (track day tyres)
New radiator
New speed sensor for the speedo
Replaced the window in the hood.
Full service.
The original wheels will come with the car too.
The main reason I bought this one is the chassis outriggers had been replaced 2 years ago and are very solid so no worries there. The interior is grey leather, and is showing its age, I have a leather colourant kit to change the lot to black and this can go with the car if wanted. the hood is in good condition and the car stays dry in the rain.
The exhaust is as standard, no cut about to make it louder, its a TVR and plenty noisy as it is.
The car has its original paperwork and has a fully stamped up service history.
There are issues with the car though.
The gearbox is slow to select gears, its the LT77 so easy and cheap to get parts for.
The central locking doesnt work, which has never bothered me.
The electric mirrors don't work, again, this has never bothered me.
I have priced this car to sell, the wheels and tyres cost me a grand, the spares and buying the car in the first place were £7k plus my time to paint it so I think its cheap at £4k. I
I cant find another MOT'd one at this price. But there are plenty at between £10k and £15k...
I will probably regret selling this but I need to rebuild my garage so needs must.
