For sale is my BMW 325i touring, this has been my daily drive since I finished university and this has also been a running project in which I've repaired or upgraded most of the car and repaired most of the usual issues that afflict these cars , below is a specification of the car as it stands. I'm having to sell this due to a new car and my current job needing more of my time.
Included with the car is the service history and all the bills I've kept during my ownership and prior, these cars are becoming harder to find in good condition. The car has a A4 folder's full worth of receipts and service history right back till it was still being serviced by BMW.
This car has been gradually altered from it's original specification, however with the aim that it can be completely returned to original specification as only bolt on parts have been used.
Currently the car is very direct to drive, very sure footed but also very neutral in handling bias, I have had friends whom have driven this car and commented that it genuinely handles very well.
This car comes with 2 original BMW Keys (Brought October 2014 at considerable expense from BMW UK) and a 3rd 'workshop' key. All the keys work all of the locks including the glove box.

The bad bits:
Given the age of the car and the fact I've been forced to use it on a daily basis there are some bad bits. The bodywork does show some parking dings and scrapes, with the passenger wing showing signs of rust right at the bottom, and the paint is completely original to the car, and despite polishing it is still rather flat, thus probably needs a body shop to attend to.
The tailgate though has been replaced does have a few minor bubbles on it (All tourings have this problem as far as I know) and does squeak a bit, I've been unable to get this adjusted just right.
The bodywork isn't up to my liking, though I've been told it's a very tidy car for it's age.
The headliner is also sagging in a few areas despite me spending 3 days to glue it back 2 years ago and this would probably need a retrimmer to sort.
The boot lock works but doesn't lock with the central locking all the time, but does lock with the key, this hasn't proven too big an issue though a rebuild of the locking mechanism would resolve this.
The driver's seat does have wear and unfortunately will need a retrim on the centre panel in the back of the seat.
If you wish to test drive the car, then insurance will need to be arranged at your own cost as I have moved mine onto my new car.
No time wasters or test drive pilots please, genuine buyers only.
