Hey, I'm Lisa from Nottingham , we have a toyota 1000 kp30, its been in the garage for years in mint condition, white with a black vinyl roof, original radio ect. we don't know much about them, accept we cant find any others in the uk. anybody know anything about them, value ect, any info will be appreciated. I found a forum but was in newzealand and they sent me to this site , stating the below answers to my post We didn't really get them here in NZ in great numbers if at all. I believe there's a couple of chaps on the UK forum retro-rides.org ( retrorides.proboards.com/ ) that have them. Maybe duck over there and ask. I'm keen to see pictures of it though, as I said, we didn't get them so they're somewhat of a novelty and quite a neat looking car. Cool little Starlet predecessor, would quite like one myself (would like a UP26 more though) Wikipedia has a bit of info on them Theres been a couple KP30's and KP36's etc that have been owned by a few Club-K members, but not very many at all. Have never actually seen one in real life.

I have one!
I would be interested to see some photos of yours. Mine is a 78, also white and in really excellent condition, the only photos i can find about on the internet of others shows some real rust buckets and i thought my one must be incredibly rare still being in decent condition and unmodified....sounds like your one might be even better!

wow there is certainly some interest on this little car, thanks guys. still trying with the pics lol, thanks for the instructions camper damper, i will do it. Iv also got a pre 1970 mk1 lwb Twin wheel transit van, thats also in excellent condition and a 1989 honda prelude with the pop up lights,we have a mgtf 03 that is turning into a classic I believe. I will show you them all.
My dad purchased the transit when i was a kid from an army auction, its on a Q plate, and used it has a builders van for many years, people always used to say when you getting a new van ha ha, he has kept it for all these years and really looked after it, its at my house and many of times iv had people knocking on the door wanting to buy or hire it, even some film guy. Its soon going to be sign written for my costume Business Wackyslackys Bespoke costume
the prelude I purchased many years ago, but gave it dad when I got a company car with Pernod ricard. I then 7 years ago purchased the mg and gave it my dad when I bought the slk 3 years ago, He is not having the slk thats being sold very soon ha ha, dad keep your hands off!! lol
il get all the pics on soon

So according to the (highly scientific) poll results, it is without doubt, a certain fact that precisely half of the users on this forum own a KP30 and half of the people that want one used to have one. I find this surprising. Also, I love how whenever I do an image search for a cool car, this forum comes up with the goods every time. From here: retrorides.proboards.com/thread/98799

I don't think there is half a forums amount of kp30s around emdee , he he. but it is interesting to see how many could be around. I'm interested to know the value too. although not fussed about selling it unless I was made an attractive offer lol

I used to own this one, I rescued it from an old dears garage in Bristol, it'd been parked up for nearly 20 years! I got it running again & sold it on to someone looking to restore it fully. It was not a rotbox. It was white & a 71 or maybe a 72. Most probably doing the rounds on here I bet.
