Hi,
I'm putting my e30 316i 2dr up for sale.
Its a 1989 m40 1.6 manual with 153k miles on it
Mot'd til Jan 22nd 2015.
I have the v5 for the car, and would be happy to allow viewing- please PM me to discuss or if you would like any more information.
Good Points:
M40 runs well- pulls cleanly, and doesnt suffer from the usual "tappy" camshaft
5speed manual box selects all gears cleanly, no driveline shunt- diff quiet too
Sills/Jacking points all solid
Decent dashboard (1 or 2 minor cracks)
No rot in the front wings
Rear Dampers replaced
5x 14" BOTTLETOPS in good condition- all tyres with plenty of tread
Spares available:
I can supply a wide variety of parts for the car, available by separate negotiation- these include
2dr sports seats
51mm front struts and dampers
Painted inlet manifold and rocker cover
m30 3.5 MANUAL conversion
Areas requiring attention:
Small dent in driver front wing (visible in pics)
Rear arches have some surface rust bubbling
One side of the scuttle needs some work
Central Locking temperamental (suspected issue with Drivers door actuator)Door cards removed at the moment, but present and correct
Usual torn front seats
