	Usual thing, too many cars (16) and not enough time! Here is a 95 Tigra 1.4 in red, actually has MOT till May or June next year. Runs and drives and stops. Had pads and front flexis (and maybe discs) for last MOT. Its on here as a project cos I am ashamed to say that I can't seem to fix the massive flat spot it had when I bought it. My diagnostic won't read it and I'm fed up with swapping bits in an attempt to cure it with blind luck! It does, however have a very sound and unwelded shell with only a little tat around the back arches and a nasty scab on the front edge of the drivers door. The interior is good (if rather girly), alloys are OK, tyres OK front brakes are the optional larger discs. I was gonna put a redtop in it or something similar but realistically its a long way down the list so its for sale instead. Something close to the £300 asking price would be nice, it won't pay for the time and effort I've put in but thats life! PM me on here or give me a bell on 07585 977030 for more details. 	The list of what I haven't swapped is shorter! I think the only bits i've not changed out are the crank sensor and the coil pack. The car came from a mate who had bought it with a busted belt and rebuilt it with the head and other parts from a similar but terminally rusty car that he had "lying around". Apparently it has had the flat spot (area is a better description - it lasts from idle to 2000rpm) since he put it together though it has got worse in the year or so since it was done. He carefully saved most of the sensors and associated parts that were spare after the job was done and kindly gave them to me, so I have changed, cam sensor, egr valve, fuel rail and injectors, throttle body with tps and idle valve, both temperature sensors and knock sensor. I also bought and fitted a new map sensor and tried a different set of plugs. I've checked and rechecked the cam timing and the position of the cam gears on the cams and i've disconnected the exhaust from the downpipe to eliminate the possibility of a blocked cat. The engine revs clenly and normally over 2k or so and pulls to 6k no problem on the flat but it's not so good on hills. And that's it, more or less. I've kinda lost interest, to tell the truth and I reckon the car is worth near as much as a project for a big lump transplant as it is as a going car. Steve

	Same issue on a corsa I had previously was a furked AFM. Changed it and it worked instantly and I did about 30K in it, ran spot on. My diagnostic wouldn't read it but a snap on one did fine, which was odd?

My cheap(ish) Blue Point diagnostic won't read it but neither will super sophisticated Snap on ones (i've tried several from various mates) However i've today been lent a very old MAC OBD1 machine and i'll try that on Monday, watch this space! I've also dug out a spare single wire Lambda sensor so will try that too! Steve

	No MAF fershure! Has a MAP instead (which I've already swapped out, to no avail) Steve

	Lambda made no difference, The MAC OBD1 reader fell at the first fence by not having a plug to connect to the OBD2 type 16 pin socket in the car. So I'm still none the wiser but i'm beginning to suspect that an air leak somewhere in the inlet tract is responsible, just wondering if I can be arsed to dismantle the whole complicated and inaccessible mess which is the manifold! Steve
