Apologies for the car in question, it's a 96 300tdi Discovery, I just know this place is a fountain of knowledge.
Accelerating to speeds over 50, we are getting a terrible vibration in the car, that only diminishes if you throttle off or drive below 50.
I have recently done the front prop uj's, so thought I had cocked up the alignment somehow, but have taken it off and ran it rwd and it's the still thesame.
There is a little bit of play in a front wheel bearing, but the vibration seems car related and not felt particularly in the
steering wheel, so I don't think it's that.
The rear prop looks ok, as does the prop donut. I have changed both front tyres and one rear. I'll change the other rear but failing that, any other suggestions?
Some more relevant pictorial thankings. For your troubles!
