I’m only selling this as I like doing cars up as a hobby and only just finished this (it’s taken me about 11 months of occasional weekends to fit all the above). Full V5 logbook present, sorned & correctly registered in my name. It’s 19 years old remember so yes it has a few marks and scratches here and there, no head-unit present but I have fitted uprated speakers all round ready for your own. Engine runs smoothly, no piston slap, no smoking, no overheating, no gearbox crunching, no diff whining, runs on V-Power, all electrics work. Sorry but for the joyriders & timewasters I want to see insurance/proof of funds when viewing or it's just me driving! I am up for a swap/px if it’s interesting (p.s: I’m 43, not 18, so a Corsa or similar won’t cut it), can do cash either way, thanks

	Would you potentially be interested in a modified MX5? Ive not entertained the idea of selling but this car would be ideal for my new pup and my MX5 is at a stage where its begging for someone with mechanical knowledge to fit a turbo to it. I'm just down the A1 from you too (Pontefract)

	Would you be interested in swapping for a mitsubishi legnum vr4, it's got around 90k milage. Imported from Japan around 2006, 2.5lt V6 Twin turbo with tiptronic auto gearbox. It is around 300 bhp and awd.its the coty edition, in pearl white Thanks

	Still for sale. Thanks for swap offers but most are a bit too close to my daily driver (Merc E320 silver turbo diesel) but keep them coming. No diesels/estates please (need speed, love turbos & V8s, thirstier the better). I have diagnosed the erratic idle issue & fixing it as we speak: intake gasket leak plus tired spring in the Bailey dump valve. New genuine Subaru intake manifold gaskets now fitted both sides & just awaiting Forge dump valve delivery. Boost gauge now fine as well as linked to same issue.

	The map is on a Fujitsu Eprom chip from Japan that came in on an import car years ago which is fitted into a stock ecu with a spare socket (i.e: J1 resistor cut). I bought this as the car was being broken up so I bought the 440 injectors in it at the same time (yes the engine was running fine when it was being broken up). The import car also had a fmic and full decat so I have fitted my own to my car to keep the specs as close to the original engine as possible. I then upgraded the whole fuel system for safety, i.e: parallel fuel rail conversion, fitted a fpr & set to 3.2 bar (stock is 3.0) & a new uprated fuel pump. The next safety measure I did was to fit the Afr gauge so I could keep an eye on the fuelling to check it wasn't running lean when booting it. When doing all these mods it has also only been filled with V-Power & I would not run it on anything less If you were expecting an Apexi, Simtek or similar aftermarket mapped ecu then I'm afraid you will be opening your wallets a lot wider than this one. The clutch I believe is stock (as the car was stock when I bought it). I have had no need to split the box/engine as the clutch works perfectly, no slipping on full throttle, bites half way up as it should e.t.c.
