For sale is our 1999 Honda Civic 1.4 Si 5 door hatchback in Silver.
It has been our run around for the last 6 months or so, purchased after some kind soul wrote off my van. We have however just inherited a newer shape civic with half the mileage in showroom condition from my wife’s mother so this one is surplus to requirements.
It has done just under 105,000 miles.
It now has a full MOT and is currently taxed until the end of February although due to new government regulations, the tax is not transferable to the new owner. It is however only £79 for 6 months.
Recent work includes:
New front brake discs & pads (Ferodo Premier pads)
New brake fluid
New adjustable rear track control arms
Recent oil change
New centre section of exhaust
New wipers all round
Features:
Top of the range Philips head unit (USB, aux, CD, MP3 etc.)
Electric front windows
Electric mirrors
Air conditioning
40+ MPG
Central locking
Bad bits:
A few age related marks on the bodywork although it is really very clean for the age of it. NO visible rust.
Air conditioning isn't cold.

The car lives at my house at Spilsby, Lincs (PE23 Post code) although I work in Skegness so I can meet at the train station.
It has been a sterling little car and has never let us down. It goes, stops and steers just as it should and has many more years’ service left in it yet.
It is extremely clean for the age and mileage. The photo's don't really do it justice.
I might consider a swap or p/x...just ask.
Finally, the last two photos are just some food for thought if you'd always thought Hondas were boring....
