bet it'll be full of gadgets, cup holders, loads of electrickery and water cooled  but 5.5 million fashion concious consumers will be clammering after tho. happily I won't be one of them. looks kinda nice tho. I just read it'll be the size of a focus! thats a portly re-incarnation! like twiggy being re-incarnated as jabba the hutt. |

Y'know what? One day there will be a car company that is unafraid to come up with new, interesting and challenging car designs without relying on rehashing shapes they made 40 years ago.
Hang on, wait a minute, there is one. It's called Renault. I don't see a Renault 4 that's really a Clio underneath down at the Renault dealership but I have seen loads of way-ahead designs over the years. Shame their mechanicals don't live up to their styling.
This 2CV? Yet another Mini/Beetle/Mustang. Yawn. Bring me something I havent seen before.
That said, I can't help liking the new FIAT 500.

I love that, but that last shot is just a heavily pchopped C3.
Which is one of the worst cars I've EVER driven.
And therein lies the problem. PSA would curse word it up, and make it way too complicated.

Variations on this story and these images has been knocking around since at least late '99,.
Auto Express seem to drag it out every now and again with some new CG of photoshopped images.
Not to be taken even remotely seriously.
