it was about 6 miles from where i work . i was talking to a guy who works over the road from me and he said his dad had a rod for sale as soon as he showed me a picture i had to go see it took about 20 seconds to decide i needed it . it needs completely wireing will make a start on it tomorrow the v6 ford should sound nice through the stacks . may need some padding for the bear barrel seats they are a little hard

managed to get some work done on the rod over Christmas it now has working lights /engine wired up new dash . i also removed the sun visor i prefer the smooth look without it . removed the carb and had it cleaned in a mates ultrasonic bath it now starts and runs a lot better next thing is make a transmision tunnel because i don't like the idea of it been open

It definitely looks better without the visor. I know it's running a Ford V6, but what's the rest of the running gear?

 seats are a cut in half beer keg not the most comfortable but look cool |

as for the running gear it has a ford 4 speed box with overdrive and a scimitar rear axle i have driven it down the road and it goes well . still got to wire up wipers and numberplate lights before i drive it properly . i think i really need to have everything working for when i get stopped in it

That is superb, I'd love something like that,
My ideal would be something like a modern bmw 3litre diesel lump and 6speed box so it'd be a lot of fun and usable daily.

i always wanted a rat with a big dirty american turbo diesel v8 and open wheeled . until i found this i am quite happy with the way it looks and sounds . i don't think there is enough room to fit anything bigger under the bonnet its tight as it is i don't even think i can get the rocker covers off without removing the motor
