Cheap eBay steering wheel and boss kit (this is just to drive away but put a decent OMP on or similar as it is curse word.)
From factory these come with the full Avanzato body kit consisting of front and rear bumper, side skirts, spoiler and bonnet vent for the standard top mount inter-cooler. The standard rods and pistons are good up to 160ft-lb's, there is talk that the bottom end is forged out the factory but have never been able to confirm this but people out in Malaysia run around 150bhp all day on there daily cars and 220bhp+ on there drag miras. This car is currently running 1.4 Bar of boost with decent AFR's and puts out 82hp at the wheels and 106ft-lb's.
It was plasti-dipped in matt black and is gloss black underneath. (Because of the tiny fuel neck size under full load the fuel station pump had splashed a bit of fuel and has made a run in the plasti-dip but I was told I could just blow over it if needs be). The car is completely rust free and is solid. I had it weighed on a weigh bridge and with half a tank of fuel (£10 at 129.9) and without me in it came in at 700KG. I do have a few bits and bobs which will come with the car like brake drum shoes and the old cam pulley.
Its got some very rare and near impossible to find 4x110 13" 5.5j alloy wheelsthat I was told where from a MK1 RX7 but under closer inspection they have "Made in Britain" stamped on them so I have no idea what they are from. They where repainted in rainbow-glitter flake over the black with all new tyres. Both front lower arms, bushes and ball-joints replaced early this year. New suspension top mount bushes, track rods, spark plugs & vacuum lines replaced this year. It currently stripped out but I have every thing for it minus the roof lining and front door cards which I never got with the car.
Now for the bad bits. I was told the Turbo oil seal was gone when I got the car about 6-7 months ago. However since I have had it I have driven it every weekend and done a bit of poking about with it and found the real problem to be with the valve stem oil seals. I have found you can order these and the "Keicar4Life" facebook page is a great tool into getting parts sent over. I was offered a TD0-0409b turbo, manifold and a full set of stem seals for £500 posted from Malaysia. OR you can get them from Daihatsu and get a Hybrid turbo from CR-Turbos in Bournemouth as they have them on the shelf for £300-£350.
Due to me owning a few Honda oil burners I have learned to drive with dead stem seals so as long as you don't engine brake a lot there is no oil usage. Little to no smoke under boost too.
The plan was to get a new turbo and run it forever and ever as I love this little car but due to genuine housing arrangements going down the drain and being let down by EVERY family member who has an empty garage I have little choice in the cars fate.
I would like £2000 for the car but I am open to offers.
Car is located in Plymouth, Devon.
