She's got a genuine sub 62k on the clock and has had 2 previous owners, the last a very elderly guy who bought it in 1998 and has now retired from driving. I bought this a couple of months back after really wanting a W123 but I couldn't find one for the right price - but I have now.
MOT to March 2015, but she's covered 700 miles since the last.
The old guy lost the service history (typical) but he'd owned it for 16 years and serviced it yearly despite covering between 1000 and 3000 per year and I have the receipt for the last service some 2000 miles ago.
The mileage is absolutely genuine. I have all the old MOTs going back to 1997 and the way she drives is testament to its very light use. The tyres are all less than 2000 miles old, wheels are good and she has been garaged much of her life so the paint is great, but there's still the usual rust starting the front wings and a small ding to the rear where the old boy knocked it on his drive, also a patched bumper where he did the same thing to the front. Neither are major.
The interior is pretty much immaculate. She starts on the button and drives A1 with really excellent brakes - much better than my W211 E500. It's got the stronger 4 speed box and it performs great. Aircon is cold, electric sunroof doesn't leak and she's still got her original stereo. All in all this is a great base to get immaculate or just use her as she is. The car also has an aftermarket alarm/immobiliser but is otherwise 100% standard.
£100 fully comp insurance on a classic policy with 0 no claims too, which is nice!
