Sadly its time to let go of my mk5 facleift RS2000 as i do not have the time to work on the car to put it back on the road and my mk1 needs work which is more important
The bad bits,the car has not tax or test and has been off the road for 2 years, it needs welding to the rear chasses rails, the front floor pans, it needs a set of rear arches and the bottom of the drivers side front wing has rotted out as well as where the seems meet in the boot floor on the passengers side. mechanically it as a sticking front brake but apart from that it runs and drives fine. It is missing the standard air box and has an aftermarket air filter in place but i was going to get an air box and re fit that.
For my asking price the car will come with a set of repair sections for rear chasses rails, a drivers side front wing and a pair of rear arches and a genuine ford front stut brace, there is also a new clip for the brake light switch as that has broken.
The good bits, the pain is nice and shiney, it does have a few scratches and stonechips but it is 20 years old. With the car is an envelope full of history with almost every old mot certificate, receipts for lots of work being carried out including an engine rebuild, the car does have 133k on the clocks at present. The recaro seats are in good condition the drivers seat looks like it has had a small repair on the bolster but there are no burns or tears. It has the yellow lockwood dials, 6 speed wipers and a heated front screen.
the car owes me more than the £750 i am asking for it and i can sell it cheaper minus the repair panels
it will need a trailer or flat bed to take it away and the car is located in Manchester 5 mins from old Tafford football ground
hopefully it will get saved and not broken for spares
