	SHOOT ME DOWN IN FLAMES FOR I AM RETARDED! I has a big bag of random assorted wheel nuts. Some are old, some are new. I don't know what they are all from / for. What I normally do is just rummage till I have a selection that all seem to do the job. However, some of them are new and a bit fancy looking. What are the crucial measurements I need to take in order to ascertain what they are and what their uses may be? I.e. Mx by XXmm kinda deal. Might be useful to know so that I can flog some to add pennies to the Super Minx Brake Fund. Thankyou. Pgwsl.

	IIRC many wheel nuts are 12x1.5. if it has a 21mm head it'll be J, most european stuff is 19mm. steel wheel types are open ended and not that pretty, alloy wheel ones tend to have cap heads and a bit more fancy. I guess the taper will narrow some of 'em down. although most are 60 degree. I'd geuss you'd have to be a really nerdy anorak to be able ID wheelnuts down to the make/model
