Those people that know me really well know that I like to fly kites and I'm not half bad at tricks and stuff but I bought a four line kite in the USA at least 4 years ago and it's frustrated me more than any car I have ever known (and I've had some right curse word cars)
It's been a complete curse word I've crashed and burned soo many times I've consided binning it after many long walks of shame (there the ones where you can't resolve the tangled/wrapped lines or the broken spars
and have to trudge back to the kite and sort it all out)
Well I don't know what happened today but I was determined to beat it (if I didn't some kid was gonna get given it as a present before I left) it all finally clicked and
I flew the bloody thing for over an hour it landed when I wanted it to land (not when I didn't and for once I was in control and not a passenger!!!)
Chuffed - just a bit ;D
