Why do people dump cars in forests? I've never seen a car dumped in a forest.

Why do people dump cars in forests? I've never seen a car dumped in a forest. It used to be the fashion with 'the kids' to buy a car for £20 or less, take it up to Clocaenog, thrash it around until it died and leave it there. It might still be, for all I know. Sometimes there'd be a one on one destruction derby (mind you, I remember that happening in the public car park in town - ex-school teacher's Fiat 127 against something or other). It happened to a Fiat Panda I had once... X reg, metal grille, but sadly rotten as hell. Sold it for a tenner provided I got the battery back, to one of my stupid cousin's scummy mates who "wanted to do it up". And of course, it got comprehensively trashed, pushed down a hill, and I ended up having to get it picked up and disposed of. Which cost me about £50. The battery has been thrown further down the hill, just to put the tin lid on it. And people wonder why I dislike banger racing so much... |

D  WUM234S? Apparently it's a Fiat 131... only wanted to find out when it was last taxed, how long it takes to get into that state! DVLA couldn't find it under Austin, BL or anything so I whacked it in RAC. |
