Removing this from sale. Fed up with idiots.
Receive a message yesterday asking about car.
'Lost my license, looking for something to clean up while I'm off the road'
'What is the lowest you wil take?'
To be fair, these statements should have rang alarm bells.
After agreeing a price, the potential buyer agreed a collection time and I changed over the wheels as per his request.
The collection time got later and later, due to not being able to get a lift etc.
It then turned into the next morning, which I agreed to. The next day I received a message saying 'Morning fella my brothers going to be coming down to collect shortly ive give him and the lift all i have I'm now skint he has 450 for the car' - We had agreed £500.
I tell him no, I can't accept, and then tries 480. At this point I tell him to forget it and that the car is no longer for sale.
Now I'm getting abusive messages etc, calling me a 'timewasting c***' and that karma will get me, and that he has lost £100.
So, withdrawing from sale.

had same trouble when selling set off exip wheels amount people let me down,but yesterday lad turned up gave me cash we agreed on.you will always get timewasters and something nothing brigade,stick with it sell right person

Personally I think you did more than enough to accommodate this idiot. You are right to tell him to sling it too. It's not always about the money.
There are plenty of genuine enthusiasts out there. I have met many people from both extremes whilst buying & selling cars over the years. Please don't be deterred by this 1 moron. Just be glad you're not him! lol
