I had a look through Max Power the other day and the retro cars feature was very nice. As usual the mag's production values are very high. The lighting was great and the quality of all the features is very good.
I think the content is currently a bit haphazard. Obviously the mag is going through a transition but it is an awkward one. Currently it seems to have too many ideas and no clear focus.
The mag still has the hotpants shots, some oldies, moderns, Halfords specials and all sorts. I guess until it settles down with a clear direction it'll keep trying to please a varied audience.
