I've bought the last two month's mags, which is the first time I have bought it since 1996 which I think says a lot. A transition like this has to be done gradually over time, so don't worry if you don't impress everyone on here straight away. Keep it up and I'm sure the masses will follow.

Why is there a section on Babes, I thought it was a car mag? Heheheh I really like the way Max Power is going. Opening up to other scenes and really progressing with the whole UK modded car scene. Great work!

I’ve never read it, but by the sounds of things it’s worth a peak next time I'm in the library/smiths ;D Personally, I think a name change would help. Max Retro... Retro to the Max..... ok I'm off

I dunno, I think with time Max Power will be associated with well modded cars rather than what it's come to be associated with now. A 15 year old lad picking up the latest copy isn't going to remember the tits n' tupperware days. And I'm pretty sure cover-to-cover retros isn't what the new MP is aiming to be (although I'd DEFINITELY buy it then! ;D), but a broader more mature view of the UK modding scene. I haven't bought a copy yet. Not because it's Max Power, but because I don't buy any car mags at the moment!

Heheheheh people I know are in Max Power, shame on them Seth. No seriously though it's a good little production and it looks like there was some serious effort put into making it. What is the aim of having retro style vehicles in Max Power? Is it to get retro style owners to buy Max Power or is it to get "Max Power" readers into retros? If there's plenty of stuff like that on the website then I will browse it but I doubt I'll buy the mag because the rest of the content doesn't really interest me.

This was the first max power i've ever brought!, nice photography but i felt the article could have done with a bit more info about the cars featured. All in all i liked it and found the other features interesting to. Not sure about the plastic bag though!

No to "babes" .. thank you muchly... in fact we don't need models in the car features, we already have Intersection for that.
I like the new direction,.. I could live without the swearing in the articles, and the numerous phone line adverts at the back of the magazine.
I've bought the last few issues, much to my wifes disgust, which I think is where your biggest problem will be, it'll be a long time before you shed your previous image, in fact I doubt you ever will.
From a web point of view,.. as that is my actual job. Your site is cluttered by far too many adverts. Combinded with the very compartmentalised content on the front page it makes for a confusing navigation and poor usability.
Keep at it... good use of Youtube and all that...

I can't get onto the site at work cos it's blocked due to "Adult Content". Fair enough I guess, I'd forgotten there was even that aspect of it tbh/

^ NO models? Not evAr? I'd rather some artfully done nice ladies than Rmad's big tummy. <ducks for cover> Know what I mean? See that chap's Dodge Charger thread in readers rides for what I'm on about. I has bought the last few issues. Don't know if I can carry on with it though as it's only one feature a month that I REALLY want to read. Agreed on the swearing too. Not in context, just swearing, so not big and not clever.

If I want to look at models I'll read my wifes Vogue,.. if I want to look at cars I'll buy a car magazine,.. if I want to look at models and cars I'll buy Intersection.

Models are ok but you have to get attractive ones atleast! Personaly i don't think your going to get anywhere with your new strategy. The mag has started to appeal to a wider audiance but i aint going to be buying a mag just because its got 1 or 2 interesting cars in it!
