For sale is my 1967 Hillman Hunter. I've not owned it long but impending house purchase forces sale. Great opportunity to get into practical classic tax-free motoring!
It's tax exempt and has 11 months MoT. Rare early car with the round headlights.
It's a bit of a mongrel, its a 1967 car but it's had the interior, bumpers and engine/box from a c.1976 car fitted at some point, so it's got the 4 speed box.
1725cc Automatic. Quite advanced for the age, it's got a brake servo and disc brakes
Interior is shabby but functional and the paint isn't great, but then it is 47 years old!
The underside is remarkably solid, the chassis is mint and unwelded and the sills are solid (not sure if they are original or a professional repair job). So it's an easy rolling restoration, mainly just cosmetic TLC required.
Also included in the sale is a full manual conversion setup, ie. engine/manual box, prop, rear axle, pedal box, also got spare front struts with brakes. The chrome side trims are included with the car.
It's running and driving. I was going to use it myself but I've got a '66 MG Magnette for everyday so I've not really got a need for it. I've not had it on the road, just run it around the farm, so I'd recommend trailering it away before committing to a long journey in it!
I can deliver at £1/mile if necessary.
