Am not sure about this one as I've only just put it through its MOT ready for this "worst winter in 100 years"
Its a 1995 Land Rover Discovery 3.9 V8 ES with the added bonus of a sequential LPG system with twin under slung tanks.
Being ES it has all the bells and whistles leather seats, air con twin sunroofs (which both am sure will leak)
But a big bonus infact a MASSIVE bonus is its a Japanese import so no rot!! Yes a Land Rover Discovery with no rust issues! Its never been welded nor does it require any.
I got the Discovery a couple of years ago from my Dad, I even think I have advertised it on here previously Its done less that 3000 miles since its last MOT but in that time I did some little bits to aid its off road ability like lift it 2" and fit 750/16s on Defender steel wheels. I still have the OE Freestyle wheels with the painted centres and standard height springs should anyone want to return to standard.
I have been off road twice with it, both occasions were charity events where we made lots of noise and generally just played in the sloppy mud as that is what kids like and with the V8 it made all the right noises.
We bought it from a gent who used it to travel to the south of France in the bad weather when he couldn't take his S2000 so its low milage (clocks are still in KMS) around 90k (I will double check)
Good
3.9 V8 EFi
Sequential LPG fitted by Foxs LPG with paper work
No rust issues
Leather seats
Leather/cruise/electric everything
7 seats
Wind deflectors OE Land Rover & Tints
Side steps
Stainless steels cat back system
2" lift
2 sets of wheels 750/16s & 235/70/16 Freestyles although the tyres are near limits
Dog guard
Bad
Requires ignition barrel typical Land Rover item broke when it went for MOT so it had been modified........ Nothing that isn't simple plug and play.
Spring in the drivers door lock has broke meaning you can't use the key on the drivers door, spring is a really simple fix but I had currently left it due to the barrel if someone wanted to change the lock and barrel then only use single key.
Paint work isn't the greatest as it looks like when it was in Japan its had been left on a drive way and driven down the side of a bush as its a bit flat on the side to.
Fair few scratches buts it is very presentable and scrubs up well.
Sunroofs no doubt leak as there is tape over them, I havn't touched the tape to check this as its doing a decent job thus far keeping water out.
As far as I remember everything does what it should and has been good to me, only looking to sell as I could do with a Delica or a van to get my motorbike in the back of.
Photobucket isn't playing nicely so I will try upload more pictures later
Am interested in swaps.......
