	Lowriders ? Custom guys? Engine donor? Went to pick up some spares for my truck from the importer today. He has for sale this Oldsmobile Toronado that he took in on part exchange. Looks like a rare car, even in the USA where they still make good money if you do a Google search on the name. It seems this is a 455ci or approximately 7.5 liter engine. On my quick walk around it, the body seems remarkably rust free. When I saw it, my first thoughts were Lowrider. I really hope someone likes this enough to look at it, it has a massive presence.

You know I am the king of "something a bit different" It is a bloody nice car. Had USA guys on other forums comment that it would be a crime to not use it as it, being rare etc. If you look at the older ones, they were gorgeous.

	It's a fabulous thing. It doesn't appealt to me as much as the first series cars, but for what it is, I love it.

	Wow, serious fender flares on the first generation Toronado. Got any pics of the boat-tailed Riviera from the 1970s? Another truly massive coupe.

	I've always fancied having a nose around these to see how it all fits together drivetrain-wise and indeed have a drive as I just can't get my head around a 7.5l fwd car. Torsion beams and coils equals easy slam (in principle) and how good would it look dropped on big diameter rims!
