They're not in the best of nick, but I knew that when I bought them so I'm not too fussed about that. The chrome is pretty nakered in places, which is a shame, because in others it's actually not too bad.
So what do I do with them now?! I've been trying to find alloy wheel refurbers, but not many of them do chrome plating so have been looking at specialist chrome plating companies instead.
And now for the questions:
Do they have to be rechromed, or can I get them cleaned up, and then just polish them so they're shiny?
Will shot blasting get rid of the rust and the whole of the top layer I.e: the good bits as well so that it's all on one level?
Read about this powder coating chrome thanks to a link from B&D, has anyone used it before?
Can I do any of the stripping down/preparation etc myself to try and save a bit of money?
What if I want to paint the centres of the wheels black? Presumably I don't want tthose bits rechromed do I if they're going to be painted?
What would you lot reccomend I do basically?

They will need new tyres. Current ones are bald and horrible 70 profiles. Some nice 60s should look a lot nicer!
Then it's a case of fingers crossed that the offset isn't too far out! Dish is a bit deep so I am a bit nervous about the offset but meh, who cares
