	update: removed the FGS solenoid, ultrasonically hot tanked it and oiled it, shoved it back in and we now have first gear start! fog lights are nolonger working for unknown reasons. put 90 miles on it so far. working out kinks. radiator is woefully inadequate and the trans leaks quite a bit.

	out and about shots: new triple-core all aluminum radiator (intended for a 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air) 3.69 -> 3.07 rear end swap (reverse order photo batch) VDO clone tacho car runs and drives pretty well. front torque converter seal is starting to hemorage fluid really quite badly, so not exactly sure what to do there. new radiator keeps temps under 100C which is a welcome change.

	nope, need to figure out what the hell to do with the transmission now. will probably top off fluid and take it for a drive to see how the diff behaves. 3.69 -> 3.07 should be a welcome change.

	Anyone with experience here on the Mercedes 722.3 automatic transmission? Might need to troubleshoot the leak. We also experienced a suddenly-onset grinding drone noise when the car was on. We are worried it may have gotten low of ATF due to the leak.

	not sure its grinding. its a whirr. front pump area of the trans. intermittent. some starts, no noise at all and others its very noisy.

	theres a seal between the torque converter and the box, if the torque converter has been off the box it usually needs replacing. (my experience with the 280 lump though)

	always does when converter is removed -- converter was never removed from the trans and never leaked in the donor vehicle. I agree thats likely where it is leaking, but why it started in the first place has me stumped. and by leaking, I of course mean unleashing a godly hellstorm torrent of ATF.

	transmission looks exactly the same as the one on my 280, where did you get the seal, really struggled to find one over here
