My pal Max has just been to see me....last night he splurged £800 on this: '57 Humber Hawk, stock 2.3 four-banger/autobox, slightly cosmetically-challenged but drives excellent. Was built in '57 (hence the drum brakes all round and clap-hands wipers) and used in Australia until 1972, hence the K-plate. That Cyclops eye reversing light above the rear plate? Coolest thing ever IMO. Just after I took this pic we found the steering wheel centre in the boot, and refitted it. Plans? Satin Black and flake, drive wheels off, enjoy ;D Just means his Amazon will be finished a bit later!! I've convinced him to bring it to the R-R Midlands Meet at The Waterman which is tomorrow (blatant plug/reminder) We have nearly enough 50's/60's tin round here now for our own club ;D
