the kitten needs somthing to help stop the oil flying around so much; currently the oil pump hangs down in the front of the sump, with the pickup going over a baffle in the middle and droping into the rear of the sump where it picks up the oil.

my idea was to put two more baffles running front to back either side of the pickup to stop the oil moving away from it so easily; like the bottom pic.
my questions are:
- will this help? or are there better places to put them
- If it will help should they be just steel sheet or should they have holes in etc? currently the only baffle is just a peice of steel welded in with about a 5mm gap from the bottom of the sump.
- should cover over these peices so the oil is directed into the area with the pickup? giving a simular effect to wings in a way.
I cant realy do much up the pump end because it fills most of it and has to pass up through it all.
any advice welcome; its only tempory until I get the oil pump front mounted.
sorry about the boring post; i actually did a more indepth message but firefox actually went 'ping' and completely disapeard for no reason loosing it. odd.
