lordy, another high point in TV "journalism". I think I'll need to tape it if I'm going to watch "Teenage Boob Jobs Gone Wrong" on Sky76732 as well.

Did anybody see the one on 4x4s? It was awful. I'm not the biggest fan of giant soft-roaders like X5s in urban settings but surely labelling all 4x4s as EEEVIL is ignoring the fact that most of them are basically inoffensive elevated estates with two extra driven wheels. I predict more misinformed sensationalism tonight.

'desperate virgins' last night... taped it. except for some of the "grown up" drama (CSI, House, Etc.) and scrubs one of the few things I have a thing about watching the more distasteful docu-cack programmes "my false boobs exploded!" and "my steriod muscles exploded!" usually in a state of self righteous piety because it obviously serves them right. Same as that "Banged up abroad" series. Loved that. Ha hah stupid, you tried smuggling drugs in Thailand and now you have to spend 20 years in an a Bankok hell hole prison, hah hah ha! Makes me think I am possibly not a nice person. I also enjoyed jury duty.

"my daughter's desperate to get pregnant and she doesn't care who the father is!"
already got up the duff at 16, had it terminated and two years later is nailing everyone in sight to get preggers again...
you couldn't make it up...

The most dangerous drivers are young males aged 17-25.
Statistically the safest drivers are aged 50+
Why else is their insurance so cheap?
You have to have a medical at 70 and every 5 years there after.
Retests are fine in theory, I'd happily do one every 5 years or whatever, but when I was young and stupid I drove like an ass. I knew how to pass a test. I'd have passed a test and same day gone out and stacked my car.
People know how to drive well, they chose not to.
A small proportion of the elderly are too infirm to be behind the wheel.
A greater proportion (and far greater number) of young drivers are too full of testosterone to be behind the wheel.
I know which scares me most.

I watched the last one about 4x4's and it pi$$ed me right off. A load of vacant plebs saying "they should be banned". Those kind of people don't deserve freedom. The crux of the issue seemed to be that they were too big for UK's roads, yet vans and 7.5 tonners are perfectly OK. TV bilge. The part that made me laugh the most was ramming a Shogun into the side of some Peugeot or other at 60mph and the shocked faces as the Pug was obliterated. Sensationalist curse word... if they did the same thing with any two vehicles the t-boned car isn't gonna stand much of a chance at that speed. This next one might yield some retro content, but some other channel (Men and Motors? Discovery bucket-and-spade?... I dunno...) seems to repeat "Oi! Police! Stop doing that! 4" from the early nineties ad infinitum, which has loads of retros smokin' around as it was made before everybody threw their cars away after 3 years... And admitting to watching Desperate Fishwives on a public forum?! Shame on you! ;D ;D

Because of the style of filming/editing or because of the god-awful-whatwereyouthinking-lack of taste in interiors and more importantly cars?

Because of the speed they cut through different clips. It's like that scene in A Clockwork Orange.
