can someone provide me with some information as regards batteries. lay mens terms will help, my electrical knowledge is limited at best
i want to downsize the battery on my motorbike. its kick start and electric start, but i'll be happy only kick starting it, as its a weekend rider. at the moment its a 12v 14ah battery, can i fit something much smaller, say off a scooter/motocross bike, with a lower amperage? (12v 4ah per say)
i assume it if you tried to start the bike on the starter motor, it would just die after one crank as all the juice has gone (due to it being an old 850cc) or would the charging system damage the battery? thats they bit i'd like explaining, not just a yes/no please
