Opening up job prospects with this one, and what I can haul, legally... www.gov.uk/driving-licence-categories Above are the categories; B: Upto 3.5t, with trailer, but total not exceeding 3.5t B+E: Category B, with trailer, total exceeding 3.5t C1: Between 3.5t and 7.5t, with tailer, but total not exceeding 7.5t C1+E: Category C1, with trailer, total exceeding 7.5t but not exceeding 12t C: Over 3.5t, with trailer not exceeding 750kg C+E: Category C, with trailer exceeding 750kg Should the C, and C+E respectively, be over7.5t, and in turn be the ones of most interest?

	don't forget any LGV job (3.5tonne +) needs FULL CPC (read 35 hours in a classroom) qualification now. Hence why there is a shortage of drivers again at the moment.

	Hi, anything over 3.5t driven for hire or reward needs CPC. You also need to hold a full category C licence before you can go for C+E. The cost soon mounts up so be aware! Colin
