Here's my MILs sierra up for sale as she now needs an auto
MOT till march
It runs fine, i just got back from Swansea for the 2nd time in 3 weeks and it averadged 41 MPG (550 miles on £75 fuel) everything works! even the factory alarm and headlamp wipers work ! non rusty Fr foglamps.
It had 4 new calipers and pads 2 years ago, a new alt 6 months back and has been serviced every year just before the MOT, other than that never had to do a thing to it appart from changing some perished rubber fuel lines for new ones.
Thr brakes are the nuts, better than most of my customners modern cars, ABS works, 4 good tyres ect ect
Nevr welded.
Bad points
1 tappet rattles on startup but is quiet after 2 or 3 seconds. the paint is fooked, if there aint a dent on a pannel the paint is crazed or the laquer is peeling, both bumpers cracked but repairable.
Only rust is on the drivers rear arch, wont need doing for the MOT cos TBH i just put gaffa tape over it every year and it passes
I've removed the headlamp wiper arms cos some tosser nicked the wiper blades and i didn't want the headlamp glass scratched, they are easy to get on ebay (saab use the same ones) but TBH i cant be arsed to sort them
The rad weeps when first switched off, been weeping for the 4 years we've had it and will go from max to min on the header tank every 300 miles round town but on a run it uses nowt untill you turn it off.
Int is clean and everthing works as it should, appart from the Gearstick gator which is knackerd as you can see, even the ashtray lamp works
