Are they pre-drilled and tapped for rear belts? Going looking at a 73 230.4 without rear belts.
Doubt I'll find a scrap 114 over here with rear belts so will belts from another Merc bolt in?

I *think* so, but not entirely sure. Rear belts were an optional extra I think, so pretty sure you won't have too much difficulty fitting some. Don't know if any other belts will fit, but they temd to be quite universal, so I'm sure another set could be fitted.

id try a set of rear belts from a W123. cant imagine them being too different in the under seat arangement of a W114/5.  |

yes they're are, universal tilt-adjustable recoils fit just fine.
