Mini Mayfair.
MOT until July 2015.
No TAX, obviously due to the new rules.
Good 1275 engine and box, slight oil leak from the gearbox selector shaft seal, no headgasket issues and holds its temperature perfectly, new alternator.
K&N airfilter, LCB manifold with nice sounding conventional exit exhaust with rolled tip.
Sounds great!
Runs and drives ok, suspension feels good and so do the brakes, any test drive and inspection welcome.
Has a 1970s tan interior that is ok but not perfect, few little scrapes and a couple of small tears and the passenger seat has a little ink stain but other than that it is a really cool interior and that is what drew me to this particular car.
Wooden dashboard, steering wheel and gearknob. CD player.
Body work has signs of bubbling in the usual places and does have rusty floors and sills.
Finished in a lovely grey colour, no sunroof, nice arches with offset 12" alloys finished in black, smoothed over bootlid, mk1 grille, eyebrows, stainless spotlight bar and spots.
All in all a reasonable example of a classic mini, it is moted so can be used, it is very reliable and good on fuel, cheap to tax and cheap to insure.
A good fun mini that can be used as is and kept on top of or a good basis for a project!
Here are lots of photos of the rust on the Mini, just want to be honest!
