Hi all. I'm putting up for sale my Audi S8 Quattro. It's the 4.2 V8 340bhp. I've not had it long, but I did buy it on a whim. Nothing wrong with the car, it's just not really my thing. It has mot till February, no tax, but it's not hugely expensive to tax. I think its £240 a year, but you can pay for it monthly now. It's not the best on fuel, but what would you expect? 24-27mpg going nice and steady..... Floor it and it will guzzle the stuff. It has 130k on the clock, but this is well below what the majority of these cruisers have. It has a good service history, and a folder with lots of receipts etc. It comes with 2 working key fobs. All electrics work.... Everything, even the climate blows nice and cold. It has all the toys, satnav, Electric heated memory seats, tilt and slide steering column, the list is massive. I'm writing this before I shoot off to work, so there may be info I've left out. Anything I haven't mentioned, just leave me a message and I'll answer when I get chance. I'm looking for £1800 ovno.... Will consider swaps with something retro, cash either way. I'd love a nice E28.            |

When did you get this piece of kit Sean? I got rid of my Scirocco and bought an Audi 90 20v Quattro. Only had it a month or so mate. I bought it during a semi drunken ebay session. It's a nice thing, but you know me, I like slightly older motors. Currently toying with the idea of swapping for a BMW e28.... Or an mx5. |

Just a quick update.
A minor issue has arisen with one of the abs sensors. I took it up the road just to clean the discs off and warm up the lump, when the abs light came on.
It went out after a restart, and hasn't come on again.. Not sure which sensor it is, but I'll try and get it to do it again, and I'll read it with my fault code reader. In all honesty, it's probably just curse word on the sensor.... I'll clean or replace if I get time.

Well I taxed and insured the S8 on Thursday, and I'm actually thinking I might keep it now.
So for the moment, she is no longer for sale.
